READING and WRITING OPTIONS: First Few Weeks

Minilessons are an integral part of Reading and Writing Options.  It is very important to thoroughly explain each choice for Reading and Writing Options, set up routines, and establish guidelines and expectations.  I generally make it my goal to do this within the first month of school.  Below you will find my lesson plans for the first few weeks of school.  These first minilessons help to set the tone for the rest of the year.
