ABC Charts
Chart #1 Objective:
Students use teacher-made ABC magnet cards to create the alphabet chart. They then use pointers to "chant" the alphabet - - A, apple, /a/ /a/ apple" and so forth. I purchase business card magnets from Wal-Mart and business cards (fed them through my laser printer) from Wal-Mart.

Chart #2 Objective:
Students select an Alphabet Chart from the selection, and use magnet letters to "fill the chart out" - -as they add magnet letters, the sheet stays put. I don't laminate my ABC charts. They get heavier when you do, but mostly I don't laminate them because it isn't necessary. You could laminate, or you could slide it into a sheet protector page. I choose not to. It is easy enough to just print another chart if needed (when one gets ruined). When all 26 magnet letters are intact, students use a pointer to "chant" the alphabet - - A, apple, /a/ /a/ apple" and so forth.
