The "Scope and Sequence" documents are kind of like pacing guides.  They keep me on track.  Some might have dates/months/weeks indicated, so that I know when or for how much time to spend on the skill or unit.

The "Copy and Paste" documents are used when I create my weekly lesson plans.  I just open the document I need, and find the lesson, and then copy and paste it into the lesson plan document.  This is a NEW document as of 2010-2011.

The "Lesson Plans" are created on a week-by-week basis.  At our school we turn these in at the end of the year.  I just burn a copy to a disc.  We used to have to include standards and benchmarks on the plans, but are no longer required to do that.  I think that with the new common core, I'll add a new section to this page, and match units/lessons to standards.  Just to be sure that I'm covering what needs to be covered.  That'll be a 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 project.  We have to be in full compliance (teaching to the standards) by 2013...if I remember correctly.

Notes:

The files above are VERY large.

Files that are about 10MB large will take roughly 5 minutes to download during non-peak traffic times.

WORD files are not available.

I cannot email them either.  They are just far too large to upload and download.

The "Minilesson (Unit) Plans" are more in-depth.  They give resources, teacher language, objectives, etc.  I have these printed out and stored in 3-ring binders in the classroom.  I refer to them when I need a refresher.  In addition, I also reference my website a lot when I need to get an anchor chart or activity ready for a lesson.  Pictures spur my memory!
